Empowered Learning Transformation Centers
The Empowered Learning Transformation Centers is a nonprofit organization composed of a group of veteran educators promoting and advocating for excellence in education via educational workshops to empower educators and parents to become advocates for students who are at risk of not completing their education.
We want to develop several programs that will help to close the achievement gap among African-American students and students who are at risk of not graduating from high school in the Brielle, New Jersey community and in the country.
Students need to know where they stand academically
Students need to work on their behavior and social skills
Students need to know how many credits they have
Students need to know what it takes to graduate, #of credits and the amount in each area
Students need to have a plan to work on everything that is a barrier to education
Students need to know what their options are.
Parents need to develop a support team

Parent Engagement and Empowerment Center:
Our desire is to develop parent groups, student groups, and community groups to give them knowledge of educational options for students at risk of not graduating from high school and to empower them to work together to resolve issues and develop a support team such as a Parent Engagement and Empowerment Center.

What Do We Do
We provide educational training, professional development and mentoring for educators. We also provide one-on-one support for new teachers, support & training for parents to become advocates for their own children, paraprofessional/ teacher aid training and professional develop for substitute teachers & retirees. We offer educational programs for the community to stay abreast of current educational issues and provide speakers for large groups to address educational concerns. We recognize & award educators publicly. Additionally, we provide scholarships to educators for their outstanding support to students.
