Empowered Learning Transformation Centers is a one-of- a-kind, all-inclusive neurodevelopmental screening, assessment and treatment center for dyslexia and other language-based learning disabilities. We offer comprehensive and collaborative care for all ages. We differ from typical language / learning disability treatment centers, because we employ a medically based, scientifically-proven intervention program that aims to treat the root causes of language-learning disabilities, not just the symptoms. We evaluate and treat patients from toddlers to young adults.

Our team is comprised of a variety of professionals, including speech-language therapists, speech-language clinicians, and occupational therapists, also in collaboration with psychiatrists and psychologists, when needed. We specialize in one-on-one, intensive interventions for dyslexia and other language-based learning disabilities for children and young adults. Our treatment approach differs from any other program in its interdisciplinary approach, which does not simply teach a skill or address any particular academic challenge in a vacuum, but instead creates new neuronal connections, and maps new neural pathways in the brain to allow for life-long learning across the board. Each treatment plan is customized to address the individual’s own personal needs. This medically-based, scientifically-proven approach leads to robust and lasting results.
At Empowered Learning Transformation Centers our intensive intervention services can assist with a variety of language-based learning disabilities. Our main focus is the treatment of dyslexia. However, language-based learning can be affected by a variety of things and can manifest in a variety of ways. Since language-based learning begins with processing or taking information in properly, all of the senses are important. Whether the information comes in through sight, smell, hearing, taste or touch, it has to be received properly. Therefore, eyesight, hearing and other sensorimotor processes need to be fully developed and functioning properly for the first step in the learning process. Next, the information needs to be processed and accessed properly within the brain. This requires the properly formed neuronal connections or neural pathways in the brain, which allows for reading (sounding out words) and reading comprehension. Last, but not least, that properly processed information allows for stronger expression of language in the form of speech, writing, spelling, etc. This requires both the proper neuronal connections in the brain and the sensorimotor abilities to be coordinated and functioning properly.
Our treatment services include intensive intervention for dyslexia and other language-based learning disabilities, occupational therapy / sensorimotor therapy, treatment of articulation disorders, myofacial therapy, and orofacial myofunctional therapy. When needed, we can also provide psychological services to determine needs for patients who also have ADHD or other attention related issues.
In addition, we have launched a preschool early intervention initiative for early recognition, diagnosis and treatment of dyslexia and other language-based learning disabilities.

We will collect some preliminary information from you as background for the consultation, and request copies of any reports or data you may have from prior testing. If you have conducted no prior testing, we can provide guidance for what testing is recommended. Empowered Learning Transformation Centers is an all-inclusive neurodevelopmental screening, assessment and treatment center for dyslexia and other language-based learning disorders. Based upon your child’s individual needs, we may recommend assessments to be conducted at our center to determine a diagnosis of dyslexia or other language-based learning disabilities. Should there be a need for evaluation to determine potential diagnoses outside of our specialty, we can make recommendations or offer referrals. After a review of test results, we will recommend next steps for treatment, and develop an individualized treatment plan for each specific patient’s needs.
